Fashion trends may be constantly changing but there are some key pieces in a man’s wardrobe that should not be missing from his collection, especially the summer.
If you are also getting ready for your holidays, make sure you put in your suitcase some – if not all – summer clothes that follow to have style every hour of the day, wherever you are.
Classic summer clothes for every man
Before I start telling you the clothes you should have in your closet, it would be good to remember this: all your clothes should fit you correctly and fit your style and personality.
In my opinion, there is no worse sight than a man wearing very loose or very tight clothes, whether it’s a shirt or a shorts.
1. Swimsuit in neutral shades
A swimsuit in neutral shades can also be used as shorts if you are in a beach bar until late at night. It would be good if the swimsuit is not too short, but only 1-2 inches above the knee, so that you can use it as pants more comfortable.
Prefer blue, gray and brown shades, and avoid bold designs so you can combine swimsuit-pants with other accessories. Also, it would be good to have a pocket to carry your mobile phone and money more comfortably.
2. Shorts in khaki and dk blue shades
A shorts in these shades can be worn all the time, wherever you are. That’s why it’s a good time to spend some extra money to buy a good quality shorts.
It should be about the same size as your swimsuit, and quite simply. Khaki and dark blue are two of the colors that are especially worn in summer, and can be combined with almost all the T-shirts you have in your wardrobe. Don’t forget just to combine your shorts with the right shoe to have the best look
3. Shorts in intense colors and designs
In addition to khaki and blue shorts you can choose various other colors and designs to make a difference. Just try to keep a soft tone in the rest of your outfit if you choose a shorts in a more intense color or design.
4.Trousers chinos in grey shade
Chinos trousers can be worn at all hours, and especially during your afternoon outing. Choose a pair of trousers in a grey tint, as it is a color that matches most other colors, and can be worn very easily. You can wear them long or slightly lifted, depending on the mood and the weather.
5. T-shirts and Polo T-shirts
Like shorts, T-shirts are a key element of your wardrobe. Whatever you decide to take with you on vacation, it should suit you, the length of it should not be below your waist, and the sleeves should end halfway through your biceps.
Choose T-shirts that match your trousers to make as many combinations as you can. Here’s how to wear a T-shirt properly. Prefer neutral shades, such as blue, grey, brown, black or even white. If you would like to add a little color to your appearance, then prefer a few shades that match or contrast with the gray, blue and khaki colors.
6. Shirt made of chambray fabric
Chambray is a light fabric, ideal for your summer excursions, and can be worn instead of denim. You can choose to wear a long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirt, depending on the weather.
This fabric is ideal as it breathes and does not let your body sweat and make stains. You can wear it along with a chinos pants, moccasins or a sports jacket, but also with your shorts.
7. Short – sleeve shirt
As we said before, a shirt is a necessary outfit in the summer. You can choose to buy a shirt made of light fabric, such as chambray, or buy a short-sleeve shirt in bright color or with bold designs.
To have the perfect fit, you need to pay attention to the sleeves and shoulders. Your shirt should not be too narrow but should fit perfectly with the rest of your outfit. As for the length, as with the t-shirts, they should reach the middle of your biceps and there should be a little fabric between your hand and the sleeve.
8. Long – sleeve striped T-shirt
It may be summer, but the weather changes from one day to the next. Therefore, you may easily need a long-sleeve T-shirt.
9. Moccasins
Moccasins are particularly in fashion this year and are a comfortable alternative to slippers. And here choose shoes in neutral shades to match most of your clothes.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to buy a pair of moccasins. There are many brands, which are quite economical and you can find the one that suits you.
10. Boat shoes
The boat shoes are extremely comfortable and are everything you need for your summer holidays. They can accompany you everywhere without warming your leg. The ideal colors you can choose from are dark blue, grey and brown leather or suede shades.
11. Accessories
Along with the clothes it would be good to have with you a belt for your pants and shorts. Choose a brown or tampa knitted belt so you can combine it with all your clothes.
Also, don’t forget to wear your glasses, or a hat, to protect your face from the sun.
